Zena Physical Therapy is a women-owned clinic dedicated to thoughtful, personalized care. The name Zena reflects the values at the heart of our practice—strength, hospitality, and a welcoming spirit. We combine evidence-based physical therapy with a holistic, patient-centered approach to help people reduce pain, restore movement, and return to the activities they love. At Zena, we believe healing begins in an environment where patients feel seen, supported, and empowered in their bodies.
Evidence-based, hands-on treatment designed to address the root cause of pain while supporting long-term healing.
Two experienced DPTs with deep roots in Summit County — and even deeper roots in compassionate, whole-person care.
Erica Walker, DPT is a co-founder and physical therapist at Zena Physical Therapy. Originally from Michigan, Erica has made Summit County her home and has been practicing physical therapy in the community since 2011. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland in 2008. Erica's approach to care is rooted in the belief that the body heals best when the nervous system feels safe and supported. She works holistically, addressing movement, alignment, breath, and the body's natural ability to restore balance. Her advanced training includes master-level dry needling, craniosacral therapy, treatment of temporomandibular disorders and therapeutic cupping. She has a special focus on migraines, headaches, concussion recovery, and complex orthopedic pain, guiding patients with a calm, intuitive style that emphasizes listening, connection, and sustainable healing. At Zena, Erica is known for creating a steady, grounding presence where patients feel cared for as whole people—not just treated for symptoms. Outside the clinic, Erica finds joy in the rhythm of mountain life and the deep connection to nature it offers.
Jen Litowkin, DPT is a co-founder and physical therapist at Zena Physical Therapy, where she brings a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to care. A Vermont native, Jen earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Vermont in 2009 and relocated to Summit County in 2010. Jen is Level 2 certified in functional dry needling and values evidence-based practice, clear communication, and taking the time to truly understand each patient's needs. She works with a wide range of individuals, supporting recovery, building strength, and helping people move with confidence in their everyday lives. At Zena, Jen is known for her calm presence, attention to detail, and commitment to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel supported and empowered throughout their care. Along with her extensive manual skills. Outside the clinic, Jen enjoys the mountain lifestyle. She loves skiing, hiking, camping, boating, and embracing all seasons of life in the Colorado high country.
